Happy Monday! Today’s post will be a follow up of the Aqua Tinted BB Cream. Although they’re from the same line, they’re two very different products and you’ll see why! 😉
Contains HD SKIN COMPLEX to meticulously conceal skin flaws and blemishes while covering widened pores and uneven skin surface to provide a fair and smooth HD skin appearance.
Formula: Thick, Full Coverage
I got HD Perfect BB Cream SPF 35 PA++ in Light Beige. Although the name of the shade is the exact same as the Aqua Tinted, it is definitely not the same shade on the skin. This one is actually lighter in shade, less moisturising, and thicker in formula to provide higher coverage.
The HD Perfect is more beige while Aqua Tinted is more orange before blending. After blending though, it becomes lighter and you will notice it has a pink undertone. On the other hand, Aqua Tinted has a yellow-orange undertone.
As you can see above, HD Perfect is prone to cakeyness because it’s not as moisturizing as its Aqua Tinted counterpart. So if you have dry skin, I wouldn’t recommend this product and would suggest that you try out the Aqua Tinted BB Cream. Moreover, this is not the product for you if you have oily skin. It gets so oily, especially during the summer!
This one comes in a gold squeeze tube of 40mL or 1.3oz.
Price: $25 CAD at The Face Shop stores
I’m sorry Face Shop, but this product didn’t work out for me. I know that other people gave it a great review, but it just didn’t match my skin type. 😦 My biggest mistake was asking my boyfriend to help me pick it up in store. I thought the Light Beige shade was the same across all of the Face It BB creams. Unfortunately I’m going to have to pass on this product to someone with a paler, and normal skin type.
