What I love about Lush is their lack of packaging, and most of all, they’re cruelty-free! Whoop whoop! I dug this lil one out of my drawers while cleaning up. I bought this last summer but wasn’t able to use it because it was too heavy. Now that it’s
winter autumn, I decided to give this a try again. I wish I could show you an image of a clean, unused version… 😦
Formula: Oils in bar form
‘Full of Grace’ is a bar consisted of mostly natural ingredients like oils, extracts, and calamine powder to moisturise the skin. Some people like to use it before lotion/cream. Others like to use this as their sole moisturiser. It’s really up to you and your skin type. I like to use this before lotion, and it helps add that extra moisture during colder seasons. This product also has a faint medicinal/herbal scent. It SOUNDS off putting, but it’s actually quite pleasant! So far I didn’t experience any breakouts or allergic reactions to this.
Murumuru Butter (Astrocaryum murumuru) , Calamine Powder , Cupuacu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum) ,Fresh Rose Infusion (Rosa centifolia) , Organic Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Perfume , Fresh Portobello Mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus) , Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla) , Rose Oil (Rosa centifolia) ,Tagetes Oil (Tagetes minuta) , *Eugenol , *Geraniol ,*Benzyl Benzoate , *Citronellol , *Farnesol , *Limonene, *Linalool
How to use:
Method 1: Use both hands to rub the bar, and pat the oil onto your face.
Method 2: Rub the bar at lightning speed onto one palm. Then rub both palms together, and pat the oil onto your face.
Method 3: Use a hair dryer to warm up the product. Use fingers to transfer the oil onto your face.
*I like using methods 1 and 2 because the warmth of the palms help the oils to absorb faster into your skin.
Price: $15 CAD/USD
Packaging: None, except for the paper bag in store.
Phew! So glad I found this! My wallet and conscience are thankful! What I like about this bar is that you can melt it according to your skin type/skin sensitivity. For a serum, it’s also decently priced. If you’re ever in need of a moisturiser, I say check it out!
Thanks again for reading! What are your Lush faves?
