Everyone, I found a dupe for the iridescent pink eyeshadow in the Clinique Strawberry Fudge duo! It’s not exactly the same, but very similar. You don’t know how excited I was to find this because if you remember, the $30 CAD price tag for the duo wasn’t something to be excited about. I got this Aritaum single shadow from the Multi Brand Shop at Pacific Mall.
Formula: Soft, Iridescent Gold Shimmer, Pigmented
Aritaum Mono Eyes in #37 is such a lovely shade of pink. The pink itself is close to a soft, dusty rose shade with iridescent pink and gold shimmer in it (depending on your lighting). In store, the colour of the glitter would change when viewed from different angles. In my yellowy lit house, I don’t notice it so much.
Although the shadow is shimmery, it is still versatile and perfect for day or night. The colour and glitter aren’t gaudy nor overly pigmented. You can build up the pigmentation from sheer to medium without looking like you got punched in the eye. That’s because the shimmer helps to detract your attention from pink. For a dupe, the quality is quite good. As of yet, I haven’t experienced fall out and the powder feels soft – not chalky.
The swatch did not show up well on camera, but it is gorgeous in real life. ❤

I love this eyeshadow, but I took 1/2 a star off for lack of an ingredients list which I think is really important in today’s cosmetics industry. We need to know what’s in our products, so we can deem it safe/unsafe for use.
Other than that, the colour pay off and the shimmer are beautiful.
